He is indeed. I also think he's going to produce more offense as he continues to mature -- you can see hints of that in his game, too, at times.

If you play that same game against Philly tomorrow, you'll win by 3.

I was at the game last night and if Jamie Benn doesn't make Team Canada, there's something seriously wrong.

This is based on what? I would assume the October version of the Flyers, because the November and December version is one of the hottest in the league.

The Leafs were able to survive 50 shots (many of them good chances), with 8 just from Seguin himself. Can Philly do the same? Because if their defense is suspect or either goalie has a bad night/looks average, its Dallas winning.

Bill, as always, great information and now looking forward to your Flyers blog. The news on Daley is not good - it appears that he will be out for a significant time period so if Gonchar is factored out of the equation, the Stars may have the youngest blue line in the league.

Bill, hope you are able to attend the game tomorrow but beware of the weather as the ice storm was very bad and travel is a mess. Further bad news is that another storm, though significantly less severe, is expected to come through tonight.

Thanks... things here in Tyler aren't so bad today but right now things aren't looking great en route to Dallas. Hope I get to make it, but discretion is the better part of valor sometimes.

The Flyers team defense is very solid. Individual players on the back end have their issues, but as a team they are very good and the goal-tending has been well above average.

The Flyers have turned the corner and will be on their way to a playoff spot. By the end of January they will be ahead of the Leafs.

Nice blog Bill. Seguin/Benn for the foreseeable future is more than enough to look forward to. But, ya Dillon too, damnit.

Flyers lose 5-1 and Seguin with the hat trick. I called that, too bad the flyers suck :D
